Bok Choy Stir-Fried with Daikon and Onion



Bunch bok choy or 8-10 baby boy choy

1 large daikon

1 yellow onion

oil for sauté

soy sauce

brown rice vinegar


2 T. radish seed, ground



1. Cut bok choy into one inch pieces

2. Roll-cut daikon into fairly small chunks

3. Heat pan, add oil

4. Stir fry onion for one or two minutes until translucent

5. Add daikon  and continue to stir-fry another minute or so

6. Add quarter cup water and a bit of sea salt

7. Cover, reduce heat and steam several minutes until daikon is nearly tender

8. Add the bok choy and continue cooking, covered, until bright green and tender

9. Season with soy and vinegar

Garnish with cilantro and radish seed
